Profile
Rock band from Northern Ireland formed in 1989. The trio made a major debut in ’92 when they were still 15 years old. Their first album “1977” hit number 1 in the British national chart. A new guitarist Charlotte Hatherley joined the band in ’97 and released “New Clear Sounds” in ’98, “Free All Angels” in ’01, and a 10th anniversary album in ’02, all of which have received great critics. Their youth didn’t stop them from being regarded as one of the top rock artists. While their original 4th album “Meltdown” topped in the British charts, getting worldwide attention, Charlotte left the band in ’06. They released “Twilight of the Innocence” in ’07 making a new start and going back to the trio.
