In 1994, his breakthrough hit "Loser" topped the U.S. Modern Rock chart for five consecutive weeks. His 1996 album Odelay won two Grammy Awards.
His 2008 album Modern Guilt was nominated for "Best Alternative Music Album" at the 51st Grammy Awards. In 2014, after a six-year hiatus, he released his 12th album, Morning Phase, which won three awards at the 57th Grammy Awards, including "Album of the Year."
His album Colors won two awards at the 61st Grammy Awards in February 2019: "Best Alternative Music Album" and "Best Engineered Album (Non-Classical)." Later that year, he released Hyperspace.
Even into the 2020s, Beck has remained active, continuing to tour worldwide and collaborating with Phoenix on the single "Odyssey."
