UK/レスター出身、KYTEのフロントマン（ヴォーカル/キーボード）。2008年にKYTEとしてデビュー・アルバム『KYTE』をリリースし、そのスケール感溢れるエモーショナルなポスト・ロック・サウンドが、英国はもちろん、日本でも注目を浴び、2008年の初来日ツアーは全公演ソールドアウトを記録。その後も単独ツアーの他、2009年には＜サマーソニック・フェスティバル＞に、2013年には＜フジ・ロックフェスティバル＞に出演し、KYTEとしては合計6度来日をし、根強い人気を誇る。2017年冬にソロ活動開始を発表し、4年振りの音楽活動を再開。リード・シングル「End/Gone」はFOXチャンネルマーベルが贈る「X-MEN」TVドラマシリーズ『The Gifted』イメージソングとして起用されたことで注目を集めた。
2018年4月に、全曲の作詞作曲＆プロデュースを自ら手がけたファースト・アルバム『CIRCUS LOVE』をリリース。リリース直前の3月には2日間にわたり、プレ・ライヴイベントを行いし、喜多建介(ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION)、山田貴洋 (ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION)、ホリエアツシ(ストレイテナー)ら豪華ゲストを招いたトークも開催した。同年6月にはGREENROOM FESTIVAL ‘18に、7月にはFUJI ROCK FESTIVAL ‘18にも出演。6月～7月にかけては、級友ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATIONの全国ツアー『Tour 2018 「BONES & YAMS」』の全公演にオープニング・アクトとして出演を果たした。
Hailing from Leicester, UK, he is the frontman (vocals/keyboards) of KYTE. In 2008, KYTE released their self-titled debut album KYTE, captivating listeners with an emotionally rich, expansive post-rock sound that drew attention not only in the UK but also in Japan. Their first Japan tour in 2008 saw all shows sold out. Since then, in addition to headlining tours, KYTE performed at major festivals including Summer Sonic in 2009 and Fuji Rock Festival in 2013. With a total of six visits to Japan, the band has maintained a loyal following.
In winter 2017, he announced the launch of his solo career, marking his return to music after a four-year hiatus. His lead single “End/Gone” gained attention after being featured as the image song for the FOX/Marvel TV drama series The Gifted, based on the X-MEN universe.
In April 2018, he released his first solo album CIRCUS LOVE, for which he wrote, composed, and produced every track himself. Just prior to the release, he held a two-day pre-release live event in March that included a talk session with prominent guests such as Kensuke Kita and Takahiro Yamada from ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, and Atsushi Horie from STRAIGHTENER. In June of that year, he performed at GREENROOM FESTIVAL ‘18, and in July at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL ‘18. From June to July, he also appeared as the opening act for all shows on ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION’s nationwide tour Tour 2018 "BONES & YAMS".
