2004年のFUJI ROCKでバンド同士の出会いをきっかけに、
翌年、初の横浜アリーナで開催された「NANO-MUGEN FES.」にASHが出演。
その後も来日公演や、世界各地での活動を通じて、共に親交を深めてきた同世代のバンド仲間。
そして今回、そんな両バンドによる待望のスプリットライブツアーがついに実現！

ASH

1992年、ティム・ウィーラー(Vo/Gt)、マーク・ハミルトン(Ba)、リック・マクマレイ(D)によって結成。1994年にEP『Trailer』でデビューを飾り、1996年の1stアルバム『1977』、2001年の3rdアルバム『Free All Angels』が、全英アルバム・チャートで１位を記録。2022年には結成30周年を記念したワールドツアーを世界各地で実施。
2023年に最新アルバムとなる『Race The Night』をリリース。本作リリース直後には単独でUKツアーを行い、その後ザ・サブウェイズと共に大規模なUK＆ヨーロッパ・ツアーを開催。
メロディアスな楽曲とライブパフォーマンスで世界中のファンを魅了し続け、長年にわたり進化を続けながらも、変わらぬ情熱でロックサウンドを鳴らし続ける不動の3ピースバンド。

ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION

1996年結成。後藤正文(vo.g)、喜多建介(g.vo)、山田貴洋(b.vo)、伊地知潔(dr)による4人組ロックバンド。
2003年「未来の破片」でメジャーデビュー。同年より新宿LOFTにて、ロックフェスティバル『NANO-MUGEN FES.』を立ち上げ、2004年からは海外アーティストも加わり会場も日本武道館、横浜アリーナと規模を拡大。
2016年にバンド結成20周年イヤーを迎え、自身最大のヒット作『ソルファ』の再レコーディング盤をリリースするなど話題を集めた。
2023年にメジャーデビュー20周年を迎え、翌年、初のシングルコレクションをリリース。バンドの代表曲でもある「遥か彼方」の再録を収録した全33曲、バンドの歴史が詰まった作品となっている。
今年5月21日には、32ndシングル「MAKUAKE / Little Lennon (Born in 1976 ver.)」をリリース。
後藤が描くリアルな焦燥感、絶望さえ推進力に昇華する圧倒的なエモーション、勢いだけにとどまらない「日本語で鳴らすロック」でシーンを牽引し続け世代を超えた絶大な支持を得ている。

The bands first crossed paths at FUJI ROCK in 2004, which led to ASH performing at the very first “NANO-MUGEN FES.” held at Yokohama Arena the following year. Since then, they have continued to deepen their friendship through Japan tours and performances around the world, growing together as fellow bands of the same generation.
And now, the long-awaited split live tour featuring both bands is finally coming to life!

ASH

Formed in 1992 by Tim Wheeler (Vo/Gt), Mark Hamilton (Ba), and Rick McMurray (Dr), ASH made their debut in 1994 with the EP Trailer. Their first full-length album 1977 (1996) and third album Free All Angels (2001) both topped the UK Albums Chart. In 2022, they marked their 30th anniversary with a world tour that took them to stages across the globe.
In 2023, they released their latest album Race The Night. Immediately following the release, the band embarked on a solo UK tour, and later joined forces with The Subways for a large-scale UK and European tour.
With their melodic songs and electrifying live performances, ASH continue to captivate fans around the world. Evolving over the years while staying true to their passionate rock sound, they remain a steadfast and ever-inspiring three-piece band.

ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION

Formed in 1996, this four-piece rock band consists of Masafumi Gotoh (vocals, guitar), Kensuke Kita (guitar, vocals), Takahiro Yamada (bass, vocals), and Kiyoshi Ijichi (drums).

They made their major debut in 2003 with the single “Mirai no Kakera.” That same year, they launched their own rock festival, NANO-MUGEN FES., at Shinjuku LOFT. By 2004, the event expanded to include international artists and larger venues such as Nippon Budokan and Yokohama Arena.

In 2016, the band celebrated their 20th anniversary by re-recording their biggest hit album Sol-fa, drawing significant attention.

Marking the 20th anniversary of their major debut in 2023, they released their first-ever single collection the following year. The 33-track compilation includes a newly recorded version of their iconic song “Haruka Kanata,” offering a comprehensive look at the band’s evolution.

On May 21, 2025, they released their 32nd single, MAKUAKE / Little Lennon (Born in 1976 ver.).

Known for Goto’s raw lyrical portrayals of restlessness and despair―transformed into driving emotional force―the band continues to lead the Japanese rock scene. Their powerful, distinctly Japanese sound resonates deeply across generations.
